Many citizens continue to wonder about the health, especially the cognitive and psychological status, of Joe Biden. Jen Psaki, his press secretary, made an attempt earlier this week, to assuage this concern. She announced that Biden will undergo a full medical examination by his physician by the end of the year. However, some questioners may respond to her announcement with incredulity. Forty four days, that is six weeks ago, the same Ms. Psaki assured the press that Biden’s medical records would be released “soon.” So far, nothing. Possibly Psaki’s definition of “soon” is different than mine.
Biden’s last medical examination was conducted in December, 2019. Its release to the press contained no reference to a cognitive or mental examination. Candidate Biden brushed off all questions about his cognitive status by saying, he didn’t need such an examination, or that he takes a mental test all the time.
Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s personal physician for the the last twelve years, has achieved that rare Washington status, anonymity. So far, he has, to the best of my knowledge, not been interviewed by any member of Washington’s hapless media corps.
